Welcome to Chabad of Eastern Orange County! Where all Jews are family and are welcome.
Chabad of Eastern Orange County is dedicated to serving all Jews throughout the communities of Eastern Orange County with Ahavat Yisrael - an unconditional love and concern for every Jew, regardless of background and affiliation.
Our multiple programs provide the education to promote Jewish knowledge and awareness and the means to practice and experience our Jewish heritage.
Since it’s opening in 2010, Chabad of Eastern Orange County has become an all-service organization providing a wide range of institutions and programs that serve the needs of everyone from toddlers to teens to families to senior citizens. Whether you are young or old, we are here to serve you.
1) Chabad is dedicated to every Jew regardless of background, affiliation, or personal level of observance. To help increase Jewish knowledge, enthusiasm and commitment., Chabad invites you to explore the Jewish religion, tradition and practice in a non-judgmental atmosphere.
2) At Chabad a Jew is a Jew is a Jew. Chabad avoids labeling other Jews, since labels tend to divide and create artificial barriers between us. J ewish Law considers anyone born of a Jewish mother or converted in accordance with Halacha to be a Jew, regardless of his or her degree of observance.
3) Chabad delivers c lasses, programs, and services designed to heighten awareness and lend valuable insight into our heritage, traditions, laws and rituals. Chabad delivers to each individual - invited to participate, study, and learn - making his/her own religious, lifestyle decisions at her/his own pace.
4) Chabad supports an individual in need. Chabad is there for them providing stability, guidance, counseling.
5) Chabad Houses in the US and internationally must support themselves financially. Each Chabad House is supported by the community it serves - funding for local Chabad programs is generated locally. No money or dues are sent to Chabad headquarters in New York - all funds donated remain right here in our community.
Led by the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, Chabad Lubavitch has grown to a network of centers in over 2,500 communities in 76 countries and in all of the 50 States of America. Rabbi Shmuel and Rivka Serebryanski were both educated in the Chabad educational system & direct the activities at Chabad of Eastern Orange County as emissaries of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. They are raising their children in the same fashion, following the Rebbe’s teachings of sharing, caring, kindness, and bringing the world closer to perfection. The Serebryanski’s love hosting guests, discussing, cooking and hanging out. Treat your soul to something special. With a "come as you are" attitude, you'll feel right at home.
